At our November 10th meeting, we will hold our elections - we are looking for some new volunteers for all board positions. Please consider a position for the upcoming year to benefit the club.
Nov 10th meeting “Lure Auction”
...and we do have some great lures to auction off. Collectables as well as some hard to get lunker busters! If you missed the last auction, here is your chance to pick up some great lures. Anyone having 1 or 2 old lures to donate to the club to auction off please bring to our Oct or Nov meeting.- the last lure auction raised $200 for the club and was lots of fun - don’t miss out

Local Stocking
Several volunteers from Three Rivers and Moraine Muskies Assoc stocked a few PA lakes with healthy 5 – 10 inch purebreds. Among those lakes Somerset(250), Glendale (1600) and Loyalhanna(600) Wilhelm (3500) Lake Aurther (3500). Thanks to all the volunteers from both clubs for working together to keep our lakes stocked and thanks to PA.Fish commission for helping to improve musky survival rates.
Chautauqua Tournament Results
Only 30 anglers were in attendance for this year's Chautauqua Team/Points Cash Tournament, if you weren't there then you missed out on a great time and great fellowship........as well as some pretty descent musky fishing. The winners are as follows. 1st Place: Todd Young and Nick Pflum 64.5 points $210 2nd Place: Paul Fec and Dave Fec 60.5 points $80 3rd Place: Frank and Elain Alcorn 58 points $60 Thanks to everyone who attended this years tournament and Congratulations to all of our winners..........see you in October at the Lake Arthur Charity Challunge and remember, the Fifty Inch Pot keeps getting larger............it's now worth over $750. Some fifty inch fish have been turning up quite regularly this year at Lake Arthur and Fall is the time to get those "Big Girls" and $750 sounds like a pretty good paycheck for a weekend at Lake Arthur. It only takes one to win it all so, mark your calenders for October 11Th and 12Th 2008 and we'll see you there!!!!!!!!

Release Forms / Release Contest
To all members: Please have your release forms turned in to Fred Francese our Release Chairmen, in as timely a fashion as possible. This will help Fred update the fish list much more efficiently and bring us up to date lists more quickly, so that you all know where you stand in the release
contest. When you catch a lot of fish on your trip, the easiest thing to do is enter your releases online with Muskies Inc. then print the form with all of your info and reference number and immediately send it to Fred. He would appreciate our members help with this and we thank him for doing
a great job as Release Chairmen.
